So here it is, our official work review of the new Mountain Dew flavors. We had five tasters, here is what we thought.
1. First up was Mountain Dew Supernova a.k.a. Strawberry and Melon with Ginseng.
Results – Everyone one liked this one. Very smooth and mellow flavor, a little aftertaste, but it was a good aftertaste. Not as crisp as the others but still very refreshing. Probably overall the best flavor
2. Next we have Mountain Dew Voltage a.k.a. Raspberry Citrus with Ginseng.
Results – One of our tasters favorite by far. Others not so sure. Not bad by any means, but not as good as the Supernova to the rest. Nice bite, very crisp. I think the aftertaste was a bit more than I would like. Still good though.
3. Finally we have Mountain Dew Revolution a.k.a. Wild Berry with Ginseng (man they must have made a sweet deal for bulk Ginseng)
Results – Least favorite of the three, but again nothing bad. Just a weaker flavor than the other two. Again Crisp, not as much aftertaste but still some.
Final Ranking….
So over all in testing all 3 did do well. We all enjoyed them, but alas there will be winners and losers in this game..so here we go….
In 3rd place is…. Mountain Dew Revolution!
The silver goes to…. Mountain Dew Voltage!!
The grand prize is…. Mountain Dew Supernova!!!!
